Weather Policy

If Guilford County Schools close for bad weather so does Essential Martial Arts -- up to 2 days in a row. If Guilford County Schools close for more than 2 days in a row then we decide our closings on a day by day basis depending on the severity of the weather. This has been our general weather safety policy since 1998.

There is no way to stay completely safe when it comes to poor weather conditions but our policy is in place to help us avoid fighting the intial downfall of bad weather head on.

PLEASE REMEMBER: After we re open from an inclement weather closing, primary roads may appear to be fairly clear. However: Parking lots, sidewalks, bridges and non-primary roads may not be in that same condition. Always, proceed with caution.

DURING QUESTIONABLE WEATHER, PLEASE STAY HOME AND OFF THE ROADS IF POSSIBLE. Stay smart and be safe. You are important to us!
