Essential Martial Arts Tai Chi program will provide you with a series of fluid and rhythmic movements that can help: Reduce stress, tone muscles, loosen joints, increase circulation, improve digestion, improve mood, improve balance & coordination.   Additionally, we will show you how these beautiful and ancient movements can be utilized for self-defense.

Our modern approach to Tai Chi is for the practitioner to immediately start seeing the benefits of QiGong and Tai Chi.  We understand that you are busy - so are we!  That is why we focus on Dr. Keith Jeffery's Easy Tai Chi System which is wonderful synthesis of Yang and Chen Style Tai Chi along with basic QiGong exercises. 

Dr. Jeffery, a 30 year practitioner of Tai Chi, has developed a modern approach to a classical art, in which core and fundamental positions are stressed in a simple format.  This simple, yet challenging approach can also be easily adapted and adjusted to any injuries or physically limitations you may have.   We will show you how just 10 minutes of Tai Chi a day can help to enhance your life!

Additionally, we teach Dr. Jeffery's 4 minute fitness routine which consists of 5 energizing, deep breathing and QiGong exercises that will help you to develop: Balance, Energy and a more Positive Attitude. This routine is amazing!  Anyone can do it and everyone will benefit from it!

Essential Martial Arts Students will also learn additional QiGong exercises from a variety of sources!

Mr. Hendrix is now mentored in Sun Lu Tang's original work  - The Sun 98 form directly with Mr. Tim Carmell who wrote the English translation for Sun Lu Tang's (the originator of Sun Style) book on Tai Chi.  Mr. Cartmell learned Sun Tai Chi directly from Madam Sun Jin Yun who was the founder of Sun Style's daughter.



-Mr. Hendrix Studying Sun Style Tai Chi techniques and Qi Gong privately with Caroline Demoise.   Mrs. Demoise is one of Dr. Paul Lam's Master Trainers. Mr. Hendrix is a certified instructor in Dr. Paul Lam's entire Tai Chi for Arthritis Program - Part 1 and Part 2. (based on the Sun Style) through Mrs. Demoise. Mr. Hendrix also learned the complete Sun 73 form from Mrs. Demoise.
